Ana Martinez Estrada

         Mass of Christian Burial for Ana Martinez Estrada, 59, of Diboll, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Diboll with Deacon Jesus Reyes officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Haven Cemetery.

          Mrs. Estrada was born August 25, 1958 in Piedras Negras, Mexico, the daughter of the late Santiago Martinez and Timotea (Fuentes) Martinez, and died Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Estrada was always happy and loved her family very much. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Diboll, and was employed by Temple Inland before she retired. Mrs. Estrada loved shopping for sales, and loved jewelry.

          She is survived by her husband, Sergio Estrada of Diboll; sons and daughters-in-law, Sergio and Pamilia Estrada of Atascocita, TX, Orlando and Jana Estrada of Diboll, and Robert and Rosie Estrada of Diboll; grandchildren, Drew, Christian, Madison, Jesus, Lily, Daniel, Diego, Divon, Aidan, Rosalyn, and Roxana; mother-in-law, Dolores Estrada; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cecilia and Fernando Hernandez, Maria (Cachy) and Felix Veliz, Elida and Jorge Moreno, Adela and Carlos De la Fuente, and Blanca and Johnny Hernandez; brothers, Santiago Martinez, Jose M. Martinez, and Pedro Martinez; brother and sisters-in-law, Olegario and Hope Martinez; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.

          Mrs. Estrada is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Timotea Martinez; brother, Jesus Martinez; sister, Esperanza Morales; and father-in-law, Roberto Estrada.

          Pallbearers will be Orlando Estrada, Sergio Estrada, Robert Estrada, Andrew Estrada, Christian Estrada, Jose Martinez, Christopher Caballero, and Eric Hernandez.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
