Memorial services for Brandi Pearce Lane, 36, of Huntington, will be held Monday, October 30, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.

          She was born May 3, 1981 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of Tommie Jean Pearce Perser and died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in Nacogdoches.

          Brandi was first and foremost a very loving mother to her son. She had four siblings she loved dearly, and they all affectionally referred to her as their “Sissy”. Brandi didn’t want anyone upsetting her Momma, or her “Prissy Little Mamaw”, whom she thought hung the moon.

          She had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone in need. Brandi was an animal lover. It didn’t matter what kind of animal it was, if it was in need, she would take it in. She was a hard worker, and loved bartending, which she did for many years. Her favorite pastime was singing karaoke andy and every time she could. She had a beautiful voice that will be missed by many.

          She is survived by her son, Joey Pearce of Huntington; mother, Tommie Perser of Zavalla; father, Ricky Perser of Nashville, AR; sister, April Perser of Lufkin; sister, Sarah Perser of San Antonio; sister and fiancé, Heather Perser and Dan Lopez of Zavalla; brother, Tyler Perser of Lufkin; grandmother, Charlene Pearce of Tyler; honorary sister, Kat Horton of Lufkin; companion, Joe Lane, of Nacogdoches; and her close dear friend, Robbie Miller of Center.

          Brandi was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Anne Pearce; uncle, Wayne Pearce; grandfather, D.W. Pearce; and ex-husband, Walter Bruce Lane, Jr.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, directors.
