Charles Guidry, 74, of Brookeland, Texas,   was born March 7, 1943 in Orange, Texas, the son of Clarence Guidry and Bella Bourque, and died Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Lufkin.

          Mr. Guidry served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Cold War.

          Mr. Guidry was preceded in death by wife, Mary Guidry.

          The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Hospice in the Pine’s for the love, kindness, and professionalism that was given to Charlie.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
