Memorial services for Doyle D. Haley, 92, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Jack Runnels officiating.

          Doyle D. Haley was born November 5, 1924 in Lufkin, the son of the late Franklin Leon Haley and Ethel Spears Haley, and died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at his residence.

          Mr. Haley was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1956 and was a faithful member.

          He is survived by his son, Wayne Haley of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Jack Runnels of Henderson; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Debra Haley of Lufkin; grandson, Gordon Runnels of Lufkin; grandson, Brian Runnels of Whitehouse; granddaughter and husband, Karen and Wesley Phillips of Henderson; granddaughter and husband, Laura and Nick Reed of Palestine; granddaughter, Tina Haley-Nillan of FL; granddaughter, Amber Haley of FL; granddaughter, Heather Haley of Lafayette, LA; grandson and wife, Cory and Hannah Haley of Lufkin; granddaughter and husband, Shelita and Justin Heaton of Lufkin; grandson, Stefan Haley of Lufkin; grandson, Brendan Haley of Lufkin; along with 10 great grandchildren.    

          Mr. Haley is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Allen Haley; 3 brothers, a sister and his parents.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, directors.
