Funeral services for Glenn Mansfield, 46, of Huntington, will be held Friday, October 27, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Greater Love Tabernacle Church in Homer with Ricky Carrell officiating. Interment will follow at Remlig Cemetery in Brookeland, Texas.

          Mr. Mansfield was born January 17, 1971 in Houston, Texas, the son of Stephen Mark Mansfield and Bonnie Donahoe Mansfield, and died Friday, October 20, 2017 in Galveston.

          He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a motorcycle enthusiast. Mr. Mansfield was a very patriotic person, that loved his country and Texas.

          He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Layla Mansfield and Sterling Sowell of Huntington; son, Jesse Mansfield of Huntington; son, Elijah Mansfield of Huntington; daughter, Amelia McGowin of Wichita, KS; step-son, Jacob Selman of Huntington; step-son and wife, Kaleb and Ashley Selman of Huntington; granddaughter, Raylea Jo Sowell of Huntington; granddaughter, Brycelyn Selman of Huntington; grandson, Kooper Selman of Huntington; fiancé, Shelly Tole of Huntington; father and mother, Stephen and Bonnie Mansfield of Brookeland, TX; brother and wife, Jason and Jen Mansfield of Brookeland, TX; sister, Susanne Martin of Brookeland, TX; sister, Nancy Mansfield of Brookeland, TX; nephew and wife, Drew and Sarah Martin of Brookeland, TX; niece, Camrie Martin of Brookeland, TX; niece, Kelcie Martin of Brookeland, TX; nephew, Ethan Mansfield of Enid, OK; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

          Mr. Mansfield was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Elijah Donahoe; grandmother, Irene Smith; and grandfather, Earl Smith.

          Pallbearers will be Stephen Kedrowicz, Jeff Bondy, Malcolm Moody, Preston Moody, Will Donahoe, and Kenneth Donahoe.

          Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Mansfield, and Elijah Mansfield.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
