Graveside services for Lois Ellison, 73, of Diboll, will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ryan Chapel Cemetery with Lewis Ivey officiating.

          Ms. Ellison was born October 23, 1944 in Walker County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Marvin T. Green and Christine Guyton Green, and died Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Lufkin.

          She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and John Bowman of Diboll; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Clay Platt of Moscow, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Heath Foust of Huntington; grandchildren and spouses, Brandon and Regan Knight of Huntington, Cody Platt of Moscow, Clint and Kortney Platt of Hudson, Rachel and Duke VanLue of Tomball, Grant Bowman of Diboll, and Jake and Kelsey of Huntington; great-grandchildren, Rhyder Albritton, Carson Knight, Cooper and Cannon Platt, Cash Platt, Jessie and Duke Tyler VanLue; brothers and sisters, Harvey Green, Darrell Green, Joe Green, Becky Woods, Kathy Barton, Carol Harold, Mack Green, and Sandra Green, all of Walker County, Alabama.

          Ms. Ellison is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Christine Green; husband, Levy Ellison; brother, Marty Green; and brothers-in-law, Johnny Ellison, Ben Brewer, Billy Brewer, and Jack Brewer.

          Pallbearers will be Brandon Knight, Cody Platt, Clint Platt, Grant Bowman, and Jake Knight.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
