Funeral services for Tim Dudley, 51, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Dr. John Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Berry Cemetery.

          Mr. Dudley was born June 22, 1965 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of McNeil Dudley and Doris Watson Dudley, and died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Lufkin.

          He was an avid hunter, enjoyed the outdoors and loved working on cars. Most of all, he loved his grandkids.

          Mr. Dudley is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lora Dudley of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Jessie and Mikey Mitchell of Lufkin; grandson, Ryan Mitchell of Lufkin; grandson, Brantley Mitchell of Lufkin; sister, Tammy Pate of Louisiana; niece, Chasity Boyle of Lufkin; niece, April Stover of Lufkin; brother-in-law, J.D. Tudor of Lufkin; brother-in-law, Bobby Whisenant of Etoile; and sister-in-law, Penny Whisenant of Etoile.

          He is preceded in death by his sister, Paula Tudor.

          Pallbearers will be Mikey Mitchell, Bobby Whisenant, Chris Stover, Ben Boyle, Ethan Stover, and J.D. Tudor.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Whisenant and Bobby Oliver.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Shafer Funeral Home.
