Alice R. (Perry) Windsor

         Funeral services for Alice R. (Perry) Windsor, 73, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Wallace Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Knight and Bro. Jordan Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Chapel Cemetery.

          Mrs. Windsor was born June 24, 1945 in Hudson, Texas, the daughter of the late ­­­­Verman Perry Sr. and Eula Mae (Fredregill) Perry, and died Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Windsor was a homemaker and resided in Lufkin for all of her life. She was a member of the Wallace Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Windsor was the best cook in nine counties and was the baby sitter of many, many children in Hudson over the years.

          She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Windsor Jr. of Lufkin; daughter, Michelle Windsor of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sacnite Windsor of Fort Campbell, KY; granddaughter, Kihja Windsor of Washington; grandson, Adan Windsor of Kentucky; grandson, Izac Windsor of Kentucky; grandson, Dylan Wiggins of Lufkin; granddaughter, Katie Wiggins of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Verman Perry Jr. and Carol of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Rabon Brock of Hudson; brother and sister-in-law, James Kenneth and Jane Perry of Lufkin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

          Mrs. Windsor was preceded in death by her parents, Verman and Eula Perry.

          Pallbearers will be Philip Brock, Rabon Brock, Marcus Peterson, Randy Stallard, and Dylan Wiggins.

          Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Wallace Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, prior to the funeral service.
