Curtis (Shane) Cook

          Memorial services for Curtis (Shane) Cook, 49, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

          Shane was born October 9, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas, to Curtis and Louise Cook, and passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Marshall, Texas.

          Shane loved to draw and ride motorcycles. He also loved his Houston Texans. Shane was of Baptist faith.

          He is survived by his daughters, Katlin Brook McCown and Madison Shianne Cook; mother and stepdad, Lou and Denny Kio of Lufkin; father, Curtis Cook of Houston; brothers and sisters, Donald and Marsha Pleasant of Central, Michelle and Brent Hodges of Lufkin, Willie and Pam Thomas of Hudson, Carrell Cook of Houston, Tammy and Brian Willis of Lufkin, Mike and Shannon Kio of Port Allegany, PA, and Cyndi and Bryan Robie of Madison, OH; grandparents, Phil and Leah Kio and Doris Kio, both of Port Allegany, PA; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Pleasant, Hunter Thomas, Mason Amerine, Dane Kio, Rylee Wideman, and Nate Paar.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
