Danny Eugene Grider

         Funeral services for Danny Eugene Grider, 65, of Zavalla, will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church (203 FM 2743 Zavalla, TX 75980) with Bro. Albert Hensarling officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery. A lunch will follow at the church.

          Danny was born October 16, 1952 in Kansas City, MO, and He went home Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Houston.

          Danny loved White Perch fishing, trot lining, and to deer hunt, but most of all he loved his wife. He enjoyed buying and selling old antique cars. Mr. Grider loved anything that would go fast, especially cars and boats. He attended Concord Missionary Baptist Church.

          He is survived by his wife, Macie Grider of Zavalla, TX; children, Jack Grider and wife Becky of Pineville, MO, Toby Grider and wife Tammy of Jane, MO, Angela Grider of Gravette, AR; bonus children, Butch Wade Hart and wife Bonnie of Lumberton, TX, and Kandy Hart of Batson, TX; grandchildren, Colby, Kayci, Jackie, Madi, Danny Ray, Gabrielle, Dylan and wife Audra, Lissa and husband Colton, Allie, Ashlynn, Hattie, Glendon, Baylee and husband, Tyrrell, Jacie and husband Josh, Turner, Zane, and Zachary; brothers, Ray and wife Susan of Springfield, MO, Bobby Dale and wife Novie of Bella Vista, AR; along with great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved.

          Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Bedford and Ora Mable Grider; and brother, Mike Grider.

         Pallbearers will be Aaron Grider, Nathan Grider, John A. Parsons, James Parsons, Bryan Parsons, and Mark Parsons.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Parsons, John Parsons, Ray Grider, and Bobby Dale Grider.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Zavalla.
