Jesus Olvera Landeros

           Graveside services for Jesus Olvera Landeros, 85, of Nacogdoches, will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Robert Lee Cemetery in Robert Lee, Texas.

          Mr. Landeros was born December 4, 1932 in Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Juan Landeros and Francisca (Olvera) Landeros, and died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Nacogdoches.

          Mr. Landeros enjoyed playing baseball and riding horses. He loved the outdoors.

          He is survived by his children, Alejandrina, Brijido, Lucia, Saturnina, Jesus Jr., Gumara, Maricela and Martin Landeros; 38 grandchildren; 60-great grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Candelario Landeros.

          Mr. Landeros was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Francisca Landeros; his first wife, Maria Guadalupe Mireles; and second wife, Matilda Cortez.

          Pallbearers will be Miguel Perez, Rene Perez, Isaias Ramirez, Kevin Llanas, Armando Castillo Jr., Joaquin Cuarenta, and Abraham Jordan.

           Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
