Kent Allen Burnett II

          Funeral services for Kent Allen Burnett II, 20, of Etoile, will be held Friday, August 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Bro. Dale Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery.

          Kent was born January 10, 1998 in Galveston, Texas, the son of Kent and Sara Burnett, and died Friday, August 10, 2018 at his home.

          Kent loved country music, enjoyed helping his dad cook, and he loved to travel.

          He is survived by his mother and father, Kent and Sara Burnett; sister and brother-in-law, Autumn and Steve Tibbs; nieces Bree Vandale, Zaney Paul; nephew T.J. Tibbs, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

          Kent was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Bernice Burnett and maternal grandparents, G.W. and Frances Sisson.

          Pallbearers will be Ronn Sisson, Richard Sisson, Glen Sisson, Rick Anderson, Dave Anderson, and Tadd Anderson.

          Honorary pallbearers will be his cousins and special needs classmates at Huntington Middle School.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
