Mark Dwaine Helton

         Graveside services for Mark Dwaine Helton, 52, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, November 11, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Bennett Cemetery in Trinity County with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.

          Mark was born January 31, 1967 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of Junior Helton and Melba Ann (Due) Schoennagel, and died Friday, November 8, 2019 in Lufkin.

          Mark was a master carpenter and loved working with wood. He was of Baptist faith, had a caring heart, and loved his family dearly.

          Mark is survived by his daughter, Jessica Robertson of Lufkin; son, Mark Helton Jr. of Lufkin; son, Brandon Helton of Pueblo, CO; stepson, Jacob Farrior of Lufkin; numerous grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Debi and David Read of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Michael Craig and Melinda Helton of Lufkin; stepmother, Viress Helton of Diboll; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by his parents.

          Pallbearers will be Jeremy Read, Jason Read, Cody Helton, Jacob Farrior, Jimmy Thompson, and Shane King.

          Honorary Pallbearers will be Winfred Tullos and Don Campbell.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
