Memorial services for Ralph Johansen, 81, of Pollok, will be held November, 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Gandin officiating.       

          Mr. Johansen was born July 6, 1935 in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Harold Johansen and Marge Bell Johansen, and died Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Lufkin.

          He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Johansen of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Greg Alan and Wendy Johansen of Claremont, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Judi Lynn and Cliff Miller of Saugus, CA; grandson, Ryan Williamson of Claremont, CA; granddaughter, Tori Williamson of Claremont, CA; grandson, Gaven Johansen of Claremont, CA; granddaughter, Cailey Miller of Saugus, CA; grandson, Nathan Miller of Saugus, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Paul Diffendaffer of Grants Pass, OR; niece, Kelda Diffendaffer of Grants Pass, OR; nephews, Dennis Johansen, Steven Johansen and Travis Johansen; and niece, Lynelle Johansen;

          Mr. Johansen was proceeded in death by his parents, Harold Johansen and Marge Johansen; and brother, James Johansen.

          Honorary pallbearers will be James Weber, David Cohen, Bill Shideler, Greg Johansen, Cliff Miller, Gaven Johansen and Nathan Miller.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
