Reba Joyce Coker

           Funeral services for Reba Joyce Coker, 82, of Kennard, will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, TX with Bro. Billy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Coker Family Cemetery.

          Mrs. Coker was born September 14, 1937 in Grapeland, Texas, the Daughter of Chester Lee Parker and Nora Bell (Lively) Parker, and died Friday, December 27, 2019 in Kennard, Tx.

          Mrs. Coker loved her family and friends dearly.

          Mrs. Coker is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Jimmy Camp of Rusk, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tracie Coker of Channelview, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Dave Kay of Lufkin, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Tracy Henderson of Applesprings, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Coker and Johnny Dumas of Trinity, TX; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bennie Darrell Coker; sisters, Myrle Parker and Zelma Louis Parker; and brothers, Everett Parker, Gerald Parker, Louis Ray Parker, Chester “CH” Parker, and Doyle Parker.

          Pallbearers will be Randy Burran, Blake Dumas, Hayden Dumas, Robert Burran, Cody Henderson, and Fernando Quintanar.

          Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Shafer Funeral Home.
