Reba (Foster) Harris

          Graveside services for Reba (Foster) Harris, 83, of Hudson, will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Freeman Cemetery with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.

          Mrs. Harris was born February 22, 1935 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of A.A. Foster and Era (Cane) Foster, and died Monday, December 3, 2018 at her residence.

          Mrs. resided in Hudson all of her life and was of Methodist faith. She always had a good sense of humor and was an avid reader.

          She is survived by her son, Archie Foster of Hudson; sister, Mary Watts of Hudson; sister, Bobbie Jenkins of Hudson; along with numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

          Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John Emmitt Harris.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Jenkins, Tommie Jenkins, Mark Jenkins, David Jenkins, and Chad Watts.

          Special memorials may be made to Winnie Berry Humane Society, 1102 N. John Redditt Dr., Lufkin, Texas 75904.  

          Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
