Sara Rumbaugh, 78, of Lufkin, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in a local hospital. She was born May 28, 1939 in Lambert, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Theodore Henderson and Suzie Mason Henderson.

          Ms. Rumbaugh was a gourmet cook and loved to cook for her family.

          She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Kelly Durham, Jr. of Clarksdale, MS; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Helen Durham of Lufkin; and sister, Trudy Jackson of Houston.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, directors.
