Shane Tobias Tullos

          Funeral services for Shane Tobias Tullos, 37, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin with Bro. Bill Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson-Tullos Cemetery in Centralia, Texas.

          Shane was born April 22, 1981 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of Richard and Stormy Tullos, and died Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Lufkin.

          Shane loved to hunt, boating on the lake, collecting guns, and his beloved dog, Gino; but most of all, he loved his two boys. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Shane loved to spend time with his friends and family. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. Shane was baptized September 8, 1996 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wells.

          He is survived by his mother and father, Stormy and Richard Tullos of Apple Springs, TX; son, Carter Tullos of Pollok; son, Hunter Tullos of San Antonio; sister and brother-in-law, Shandi and Shoel Brashear of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Doug Milford of Timpson; niece, Shada Brashear; nephews, Kane Milford and Kale Milford; maternal grandparents, Tanker and Lana Shumaker of Wells; paternal grandparents, Joe and Betty Phillips of Apple Springs; uncle and aunt, Mark and Tina Glover of Wells; aunt, Resa Tullos of Lufkin; cousin, Jima Hill of Lufkin; cousin, Jami Nerren of Huntington; cousin, Candus Dement of Wells; cousin, Cassidy Glover of Wells; cousin, Carrigan Glover of Wells; and half-sisters, Wynette Tolley, Felinda Redd and Amanda Scarbrough.

          Shane was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Coy and Marie “Granny” Crawford; grandfather, Toby Glover; grandmother, Mattie Lavon Hicks; grandfather, Jimmy Tullos; and aunt, Rachelle Hudgins.

          Pallbearers will be Mark Hardin, Mario Garcia, Little Mario Garcia, Cookies Garcia, Isreal Perez, Luke Sanders, Jade Hannah, and Clint Smith.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Hodge, Ronnie Cole, Jason Pierce, Justin Drinkard, Michael McClin, Donald Chasteen, and Mark Tryon.

          Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
