Aaron Garcia

          Visitation for Aaron Garcia, 22, of Lufkin, will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home.

          Mr. Garcia was born on April 8, 2003, in Lufkin, Texas, to Orfa (Garcia) Luna, and died Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Trinity County, Texas.

          Aaron loved working out, fishing, and playing video games. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He was also very family-oriented and enjoyed playing with his nephews and nieces.

          He is survived by his mother, Orfa Garcia of Lufkin; sister, Abigail Rivera of Lufkin; sister, Adriana Garcia of Lufkin; grandmother, Juanita Luna of Lufkin; aunt, Zayda Garcia of Lufkin; aunt, Zabdy Garcia of Lufkin; nephew, Kaleb Rivera of Lufkin; nephew, Elijah Rivera of Lufkin; and niece, Emilia Rivera of Lufkin.

         Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his sister, Adelia Garcia; nephew, Ulyses Enriquez; and grandmother, Joaquina Luna.
