Adelia Garcia Obituary

         Memorial services for Adelia Garcia, 28, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Lufkin First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Michael Rawls and Pastor Mallori Rawls officiating.


          Adelia was born on March 5, 1997, in Lufkin, Texas, to Orfa Garcia, and died Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Livingston, Texas.


          Adelia was a very creative artist. She loved collecting crystals and taking photos. Adelia loved the outdoors, especially being around water. She enjoyed cooking and traveling to new places.  Adelia was a member of Timber Creek Church and the First Church of the Nazarene in Lufkin.


         She is survived by her mother, Orfa Garcia of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Abby and Michael Rivera of Lufkin; sister, Adriana Garcia of Lufkin; brother, Aaron Garcia of Lufkin; grandmother, Juanita Garcia of Lufkin; aunt, Zayda Garcia of Lufkin; aunt, Zabdy Garcia of Lufkin; cousin, Josh Mendiola of Lufkin; cousin, Sarai Villanueva of Lufkin; cousin, Alexis Villanueva of Lufkin; cousin, Christian Garcia of Lufkin; cousin, Alondra Delatorre of Lufkin; cousin, Anthony Delatorre of Lufkin; cousin and husband, Yomaira and Carlos Vela of Lufkin; nephew, Kaleb Rivera of Lufkin; nephew, Elijah Rivera of Lufkin; niece, Emilia Rivera of Lufkin; sister-in-law, Kellie Allen of Lufkin; and stepfather, Tony Lara Meras of Lufkin.


          Adelia was preceded in death by her son, Ulyses Enriquez; great-grandmother, Tita Luna; and great-grandfather, Ruben Luna.
