Memorial services for Adrian Willis Alfred, 67, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Broken Vessel in Lufkin with Mark Youngblood officiating.
Mr. Alfred was born on February 2, 1957, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Jessie Ward Alfred and Celia Zadie Spears, and died Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Alfred was a hard worker and could always be found working he was a true workaholic. He enjoyed spending time fishing. He liked going to church and enjoyed spending time with his church family. Above all Mr. Alfred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. Alfred also had a special love for his beloved dog “Cookie”.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia Loriane Ashton Alfred of Diboll; son and wife, Paul and Ashley Havard of Huntington; daughter and husband, Paula and Chris Mixon of Hudson; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Bethine Sueck of Hudson; brother, Titus Alfred of Corrigan, TX; brother, Jessie Alfred of Conroe, TX; and sister, Dorothy Lyman of Salem, OR.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie Ward Alfred and Celia Zadie Spears; son, Randall Alfred; and son, Harold Ashton.
