Graveside services for Alford Lewis Hambrick, 79, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Diboll, Texas, with Reverend Mike Loftin officiating.

          Mr. Hambrick was born on August 21, 1946, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Lewis Hambrick and the late Mildred Elizabeth (Cain) Hambrick, and died on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Houston.

          Alford was a very hard worker who took good care of his family. He loved the Lord and loved to talk. He never met a stranger. Alford was very funny and enjoyed cutting up and making people laugh. He often spent his free time playing 42 and listening to music. The family tradition of gathering together every Saturday night for “family night” to enjoy food and games was his favorite pastime. He was dearly loved by his family and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also considered the best brother-in-law ever.

          He is survived by daughters, Deadra (DeeDee) Hambrick, Tina McClendon, Celeste Coffey, Cassandra Pate; sons and wives, Randy and Debbie Hambrick, Chris and Deborah Hambrick; daughter and husbands, Tonya and Tyson Driver, Nicole and Jeremy Nash; granddaughters and husbands, Felicia and Eric Powell, Sarah and Walker Pyron, Katie and Chandler Parker; grandchildren, Jo Lynn Baker, Walker Baker, Delilah Pate, Robert Pate, Wyatt Hambrick, Dakota Nash, Hunter Driver, and Case Driver; great-grandchildren, Josie Hambrick, Lillie Johnson, Chesnie “CJ” Johnson, Ryan Joseph Powell, Jackson Garcia, and Camden Parker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          Mr. Hambrick was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Hambrick; daughter, Lisa Hambrick; grandson, Joseph Martin Hambrick; brother, Joe Hambrick; and sister, Milvie Sue McClendon.

          Pallbearers will be Cary Parker, Lane Bass, Clint Caton, Sam Baker, Gary Dover, and Tyson Driver.

          The honorary pallbearer will be Melvin Linton, Sr.

          Visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery.
