Almeda Ann Cassidy

          Graveside services for Almeda Ann Cassidy, 80, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Largent Cemetery in Lufkin with Bishop Ryan Dodge officiating.

          Ms. Cassidy was born on January 24, 1946, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Harry George Paulsen and Alma Elizabeth (Brodie) Paulson, and died on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Lufkin.

          Ms. Cassidy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lufkin. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the LDS Temple in Houston. Ms. Cassidy was a positive, outgoing, and kind person. She loved genealogy, her cats, and good conversation. Ms. Cassidy was a member of the LOL group and treasured their friendship.

          Ms. Cassidy is survived by her church family.

          She was preceded in death by her parents.
