Amy Kathleen Reeves

          Funeral service for Amy Kathleen Reeves, 58, of Lufkin, will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.

          Amy was born on June 19, 1967, in Lufkin, Texas, to Tom Nelson Williams, Sr. and JoAnna (Bowman) Williams, and died Friday, August 8, 2025, in Lufkin.

          Amy was a devoted Christian. She loved knitting, music, and enjoyed playing piano at First Baptist in Diboll for many years. Amy was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She lived life to the fullest and brought joy to anyone who knew her.

           Amy is survived by her husband, Douglas Leon Reeves of Lufkin; son, Calvin Reeves of Lufkin; daughter, Kelsey Kathleen Reeves of Lufkin; mother, JoAnna Williams of Rosebud, TX; brother, Tom Williams, Jr. of Temple, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Lacy Williams of Rosebud, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Tom Nelson Williams, Sr.; and grandmother, Ezel Shaw.

          Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home.
