Graveside services for Angela “Angi” Rose Locke, 65, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Damascus Cemetery in Corrigan with Rev. Cindy Doran officiating.
Angi was born on November 3, 1959, in Hemphill, Texas, to Lester Ener and Helen Irene (Rushing) Ener, and died Monday, March 3, 2025, in Lufkin.
Angi enjoyed traveling. Her favorite place to go was the beach. She always enjoyed a good meal, especially seafood. Angi was an excellent cook and liked to cook for her family and friends. Above all, Angi loved her family, especially her grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as “Grangi”.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Locke of Lufkin; daughter, Katrina Campbell of Center; daughter, April Locke of Lufkin; daughter, Georgia Minces of Lufkin; granddaughter and husband, Emily and Casey Still; grandson, Hunter McLeroy; grandson, Hayden McLeroy; granddaughter, Ellie Walker; grandson, Dean Walker; grandson, Dane Walker; granddaughter, Cissy Minces; grandson, Sean Minces; great-granddaughter, Elvie Jean Still; great-grandson, Amos Still; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Tammy Ener of Huntington; brother, Bill Ener of Onalaska; and brother Merle Jean Lewis of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her son, Derek Barlow; parents, Lester and Helen Ener; sisters, Mary Rice, Ruth “Muffin” Gaspard, and Betty Stratton; brother, Gary Ener; and brother-in-law, J.R. Gaspard; special nieces and nephew, Tanya Cunningham, Cliff Craig, and Pam Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Hunter McLeroy, Hayden McLeroy, Dean Walker, Dane Walker, Sean Minces, and Casey Still.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church.
