Anne Rowlett Collins

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­          Anne Rowlett Collins, 83, of Lufkin, Tx was born on April 14, 1938, in Houston, Texas, to Hubert Layton Rowlett and Thelma Lorraine Holcomb Rowlett, and died Thursday, April 7, 2022, in Lufkin.

          Anne was a great wife and a devoted mother. She enjoyed her work in bookkeeping and real estate because she had the opportunity of meeting people. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her husband and two sons. She was always close to her parents.

          She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edwin Collins of Lufkin; her sons: Eric Collins of Houston and Kerry Collins of Lufkin; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Sherry Rowlett of Hot Springs, AR; and by her sister, Linda Standley of Lufkin.

          She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Thelma Rowlett
