Funeral services for Betty Miller, 65, of Huntington, will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Pastor Charlie Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Diboll.

            Mrs. Miller was born on July 29, 1960, in Lufkin, Tx, to Ira Leon Miller and Maudine (Herrod) Craven, and died Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Huntington, TX.

            Betty loved spending time with her family and friends.  She loved working in the yard, and her favorite thing was raking the yard no matter what size.  She loved being on the lake fishing.  She enjoyed going to her grandkids and great-grandkids ball games and was always their biggest fan. 

            She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jerry Reeves of Huntington, TX; daughter, Melissa Havard of Onalaska, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and B. J. Free of Lufkin, TX; daughter, Hannah Wagnone of Zavalla, TX; grandchildren, Dillon Glawson, Destiney Reeves, Dakota Reeves, Cheyanne Parker, Lillian Dye, Jerry Sheffield, Ashlyn Free, J. R. Free, Brayden Trlica, Jessie Free, Guss Free, Harley Knupp, Molly Thompson, Dakota Unsell, all of Lufkin, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Edward Miller and Kathy of Mississippi; mother, Maudine Craven of Lufkin, TX; 8 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Jeremy Unsell of San Antonio, TX; son-in-law, Kevin Trlica of Groveton, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Roger Wagnone; granddaughter, Nikki Reeves; sister, Peggy Miller, and father Leon Miller.

            Pallbearers will be Jerry Reeves, Dillon Glawson, Dakota Reeves, Jeremy Unsell, Kevin Trlica, and Dakota Unsell.

            Honorary pallbearers will be Harley Knupp, Bentley Glawson, Chris Allen, James Allen, Luke Sampley and Roy Dye.

            Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home.
