A Memorial Visitation for Billy Dean Trivitt , 65, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home.
Mr. Trivitt was born on December 16, 1958, in Alice, Texas, to the late Billy Joe Trivitt and Sharon Floydene (Flud) Trivitt , and died Thursday, February 15, 2024, in The Woodlands, Texas.
Mr. Trivitt was a proud patriot. He enlisted at the age of 15 in the Navy, where he became a Vietnam Vet, and achieved the rank of E7 Chief. He had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley’s, and was a car enthusiast. He attended Clawson Assembly of God Church. Mr. Trivitt was a member Warriors for Christ Motorcycle ministry. Mr. Trivitt enjoyed his daily ritual of drinking coffee with his buddies. He was a family man and loved his family and dogs but above all he loved God.
He is survived by his wife, Reneé Berchey Trivitt of Lufkin; daughter, Mystery Trivitt of Lufkin; daughter and husband, Meloney and Larry Kohl of Cape Cod, MA; granddaughter, Rylie Khol of Cape Cod, MA; granddaughter, Keegan Khol of Cape Cod, MA; sister and brother-in-law, Adonna and Roger Reid of Rusk, TX; brother and sister-in-law, David and Sandra Trivitt of League City, TX; niece, Destiny Reid of Rusk, TX; nephew, Michael Trivitt of Galena Park, TX; nephew, Billy Reid of Rusk ,TX; and niece, Caela Trivitt of League City, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Trivitt; nephew, Nathan Trivitt; and his first wife Beverly Jean Trivitt.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Warriors for Christ, Tom Sturdivant, Billy Colston, and Brian Goodman.
