Brenda “Nanny” Butler, 71, of Center, was born on December 28, 1952, in Houston, Texas, to the late Marvin Isaac Williamson and Louis (Russell) Williamson, and died Friday, December 27, 2024, in Lufkin.
Mrs. Butler passed away 9 hours before her 72nd birthday. She was an avid reader and read 2-3 books a day. Mrs. Butler gave all of her grandchildren their first cup of coffee. She was a loving and giving person.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband, Mickey Butler of Center; son, J.B. Grant of Nacogdoches; daughter, Tina Smith of San Augustine; daughter, Casandra Kimble of Grapeland; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jessica Butler of Rowlett, TX; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; sister, Kim Camble of Houston; brother, Wayne Williamson of Humble; and best friends, Debra Hodge and Dorothy Fry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billy Williamson, Robert Williamson, Cotton Rackard, Don Williamson, and Jessie Williamson; sisters, Dorothy Crow, Elaine Williamson, Lolly Ortiz, Trena Smith, and Bonnie Williamson.
