Brent T. Lucas

          Memorial services for Brent T. Lucas, 54, of Nacogdoches, will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin Texas.

          Mr. Lucas was born February 24, 1967 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to Tom Lucas and Carol Maxine (Morrison) Lucas, and died Saturday, March 13, 2021 in Lufkin.

          Mr. Lucas worked as a Quality Control Officer at TFP Nutrition and took great pride in his job. His two daughters were his world but his love for hunting, fishing, sports, and everything outdoors came in a close second. He loved life and often exhibited this through his remarkable personality which will never be forgotten.

          He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Wayne Ramsey of Lufkin; daughter, Ashley Lucas of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Harrison Ramsey and Amelia Ramsey; brothers, Brian Lucas and wife Jill, and Barry Lucas; sister, Brenda Lucas; father, Tom Lucas; along with numerous nephews, other relatives and friends.

          Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Lucas; and sister, Belinda Temple.

          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Hospice in the Pines at 1504 W. Frank Ave, Lufkin TX 75904.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
