Carol Sue Manley

         Graveside services for Carol Sue Manley, 72, of Pollok, will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Simpson Cemetery in Pollok with  Ronnie Shaw and Ethan Keene officiating.

         Mrs. Manley was born on January 24, 1951, in Center, Texas, to the late Jack Ledford and Audrey Anderson, and died Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Manley was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had an infectious laugh and was a hard worker. Mrs. Manley loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved sharing stories about her dog, Cooper. She loved President Joe Biden.

          She is survived by her husband, Sheryll Manley; daughter, Angie Solly and husband Drayton of Rusk, TX; daughter, Rhonda Gee of Grapeland, TX; grandsons, Logan Haney and wife Maggie, Ethan Keene and fiancé Nicole, and Jack Harbuck; brother, Lealand Ledford; sisters, Patricia, Doris, and Linda; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Cooper.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, John Dylan; brothers, James Ledford and Jerry Ledford; and brother-in-law, Wayland Cook.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Haney, Ethan Keene, Jack Harbuck, Chase Richburg, Bill Lowery, Jr., and Leland Smith.
