Carolyn K. Edwards Hileman

          A Memorial Mass for Carolyn K. Edwards Hileman, 59, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Lufkin with Fr. Joby Thomas officiating. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m., prior to the mass.

          Mrs. Hileman was born on March 10, 1965, in Houston, Texas, to the late Z.T. Edwards and Winnie Frances (Hanson) Edwards, and died Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Hileman was a member of St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church and worked with the youth group. She was a very good entrepreneur and writer. Above all Mrs. Hileman was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend. 

          She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Hileman; daughter and husband, Frances Larrisa and Brett James Lejeune; daughter and wife, Carlie (Rory) and Michelle Hileman; son, Colin Aaron Hileman; daughter and husband, Autumn Marie Witt-Miller and Micheal Thomas Miller; son and wife, Christopher Ross and Patsy Elrod Witt; son, Joshua Eric; grandchildren, Kenneth Gerald Lejeune, Obrey Alex James Lejeune, Micheal Ian Ward Miller, Calliope Emerson Hileman Miller, and Mathias Avery Lee Miller; niece, Darlene Middleton; and brother, Ricky Edwards. 

           She was preceded in death by her parents, Z.T. Edwards and Winnie Frances (Hanson) Edwards; sisters, Betty Edwards, Norma Edwards, and Joeann Fisher. Grandsons, Alexander Lejeune and James Lejeune; and niece, Connie Edwards.
