Graveside services for Carrie Ann Holland, 55, of Huntington, will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Huntington Cemetery in Huntington, Texas, with her cousin, David Holland, Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Carrie Ann Holland was born on June 8, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, to Gary Dean Holland and the late Jo Ann (Holland) Phillips, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Huntington.
She attended Zavalla High School, where she was a cheerleader and formed many lasting memories. Carrie cherished having a relationship with her children, took great joy in caring for her dogs, and treasured time spent visiting with her family.
She is survived by her son, Philip Sabin Hibbard III of Huntington; daughters, Philicia Wright and Danielle Tindall; and her son-in-law, Harrison Wright. She also leaves behind her father, Gary Holland of Huntington; sisters, Tonia Holland of Huntington and Valerie Mahar and husband Michael Mahar of Baytown. Carrie was a proud grandmother to Braylan Russell, Jayden Hibbard, Abigail Hibbard, Colt Hibbard, Sabin Wright, and Emery Wright, all of whom she loved dearly.
She is also survived by her nieces, Sonia Reneau and husband Jared, Jesseca Holland, Raquel Carroll and husband Jason, Heather Tarver, and Addyson Mahar; and nephews, Gary Dean Holland II and wife Stephanie, and Cole Hopson and Seana; and many friends and loved ones.
Carrie was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Holland; sister, Joy Lynn Holland; grandparents, James Albert Holland and Virginia Sue Holland of Huntington; aunt, Joan Holland Morton of Huntington; uncles, Dale Phillips, Gail Phillips, and George Phillips; and brother-in-law, Jesse Pena.
A graveside burial service for Mrs. Holland will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00am at Huntington Cemetery, with her cousin, David Holland Jr., officiating.
