Mr. Stemple was born on November 28, 1934, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to the late Charles Byron Stemple I and Salome (Cramblet) Stemple, and died Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Lufkin.
Charles was a mechanical engineer. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. Early in his career as an engineer he worked for the Whirlpool Corporation, later he owned Stemple’s Appliances in Lufkin.
