Charlotte Ann Kesinger

          A Memorial Visitation for Charlotte Ann Kesinger, 66, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Kesinger was born October 24, 1955, in Pineland, Texas, to the late Henry Procella, Jr. and Jewel Marie (Evans) Procella, and died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her residence.

          Mrs. Kesinger enjoyed spending time at her river house and going to the beach. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

          Mrs. Kesinger is survived by her husband, James “Bubba” Kesinger of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Chasity and Ira Murray of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Will and Kayla Kesinger of Lufkin; grandsons, Lawrence Scarborough and wife Jacy, Shane Scarborough, Beau Kesinger, Easton Kesinger, and Kayden Kesinger, all of Lufkin; great-grandsons, Jacen Scarborough, Kasen Scarborough, and Layten Scarborough, all of Lufkin; great-granddaughter, Haislynn Scarborough of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jerry Baskette of Granbury, TX; sister, Wanda Tolley of Cedar Creek, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Veronica “Jean” Blair.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Scarborough, Shane Scarborough, Ira Murray, Will Kesinger, Dewey Windham, Malcom Marberry, and Jerry Baskette.
