Chris Mills, 57, of Lufkin, was born September 12, 1966, in Conroe, Texas, to the late Columbus Billy Ray Mills and Theda Ruth (Helpenstell) and died Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Lufkin.

          Mr. Mills was of the Christian faith. He had a love for the outdoors, especially for hunting and fishing. Mr. Mills was a very talented wood worker.

          He is survived by his son, Brian Mills of Lufkin; brother, Bill Mills and wife Laura of Bryan, TX; sister, Angela Loftin of Orange, TX; sister, Tammi Heaton of Gatesville, TX; sister and husband, Becky and R.G. Otis of Mart, TX; Ann “Ma” Mills of Carthage, TX; Angela Bentley of Lufkin; beloved dog, Rex; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his parents.
