Funeral services for Colin Crawford, 44, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church of Lufkin with Reverend Jennifer Steel-Lantis officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mr. Crawford was born on September 15, 1981, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Jerry Dean Crawford and Carolyn Izorah (Nerren) Crawford, and died Friday, December 19, 2025, in Lufkin.
Colin attended the Chamberlain Hunt Military Academy in Port Gibson, Mississippi. He was also a proud graduate of Texas A&M in Galveston where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Archaeology. Mr. Crawford had the honor of sitting on the Texas A&M Chancellors Advisory Board and served as the Texas A&M Student Senate President. He participated in the Texas A&M Sea Aggie Singers, Houston Tidelanders Chorus, and was the pianist at First Christian Church of Lufkin. Colin enjoyed music and culinary arts and also had a love of computer engineering and science.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Crawford; aunt, Sarah Page; cousins, Stephen Page, Wayne Page, Stephanie Page, and Alex Page; and companion, Matthew Wallace.
Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Dean Crawford; and brother, James Lawrence Crawford.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Page, Wayne Page, Alex Page, Matthew Wallace, Jonathan Arriola, and Chris LaPort.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Wound Care Department at CHI St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2025, at First Christian Church of Lufkin.
