Debora Jean Roy

          Debora Jean Roy, 63, of Lufkin, was born April 17, 1961, in Houston, Texas, to Richard E. Hotard and Donna J. (Chastang) Hotard , and died Friday, April 26, 2024, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Roy was of the Baptist faith and had been recently Baptized on March 24, 2024. She loved to talk and was a storyteller. Mrs. Roy loved cooking and attending family reunions. Above all Mrs. Roy loved her family deeply and would do anything for anybody. 

          She is survived by her husband David Roy of Brookeland, TX; son and wife, Jason and Sarah  Roy of Hudson; son, Allan Roy of Miami, FL; grandchildren Brynn, Olivia, Hudson, Isla, and Mason Roy; parents, Richard and Donna Hotard; brother and wife, Larry and Roberta Hotard of Tampa, FL; sister and husband, Diana and Alan Hall of Nacogdoches; and numerous nieces and nephews.

           A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
