Obituary

        Graveside services for Denise Elaine Husband, 63, of Nacogdoches, will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile, Texas with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.

        Denise Elaine Husband was born on February 24, 1960, in Austin, Texas, to  Lloyd Vernon Stromquist and Vernell (Morton) Caldwell, and died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in Nacogdoches.

        Denise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Caleb Stewart of Etoile; daughter, Destiny Sayers and fiancé Aaron Youngblood of Huntington; daughter, Heather Clayton of Georgetown; granddaughters, Maysin Stewart of Etoile; and Caitlin Frances of Houston; grandson, Remington Youngblood of Huntington; great-granddaughter, Ella Rose of Houston; mother, Vernell Caldwell of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; and sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Greg Paquin of Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

        Denise was preceded in death by her grandparents, Flavel Mitchell and Pearl Crawford (Morton) Mitchell, father, Lloyd Stromquist, Aunts, Thelma Jean Morton Brady and Avis Morton Jousan, and uncle, Jesse Morton.
