Graveside services for Donald McRay Pittmon, Sr., 75, of Pollok, will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gann Cemetery in Pollok with Bro. Keith Bickley officiating.

         Mr. Pittmon was born on September 24, 1950, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Virgil McRay Pittmon and Ruth L. (Lawson) Pittmon, and died Monday, August 10, 2026, at his residence.

         Mr. Pittmon was of Baptist faith. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Colorado. Mr. Pittmon loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Most of all, he loved his family.

         Mr. Pittmon is survived by his wife of 49 years, Luran Pittmon of Pollok;  son, Donald Pittmon, Jr. and wife Karen of Wells; granddaughter, Justina Bailey of Angel Fire, NM; grandson and wife, Justin and Alyssa Pittmon of Buna; granddaughter, Hannah Lind of Amarillo; great-granddaughters, Klhoe Bailey, Prudence Bailey, and Georgia Bailey, all of Angel Fire, NM; great-granddaughters, Brazleigh Pittmon and Raelynn Pittmon, both of Buna; and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sandra Malnar of Lufkin.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Ray Malnar; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doris and Leon Carroll; and sister-in-law, Lisa Weathers.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Weathers, Chris Weathers, Dana Day, Damon Malnar, Billy Conn, Ken Massey, J.T. Haygood, and Roger Rule.
