Graveside services for Douglas Weaver, 62, of Wells, will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Huntington Oddfellow Cemetery, with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.
Mr. Weaver was born September 4, 1959, in Lufkin, Texas, to John Douglas Weaver and Gracie (Trinkle) Weaver, and died Sunday, October 31, 2021, in Lufkin.
Mr. Weaver loved playing pool, drinking beer and spending time with family.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Jessica Weaver of Lufkin; son, Brian Weaver of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Noble Willingham of Tyler; step-daughter and son-in-law, Angie and James McEntire of Zavalla; stepson, Johnny Burrous of Lufkin; step-daughter, Amanda Allen of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ken Stephens of Huntington; sister, Brenda Helton of Huntsville; brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Kathleen Walker of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, George and Lynn Weaver of Rockdale; sisters-in-law, Lanell Woltz and Sarah Nunez of Pollok; brothers-in-law, Bucky McDaniel and Rodney McDaniel of Pollok; grandchildren, Carson, Braelynn and Benton Weaver of Lufkin, and Justin Kirby of Tyler; step-grandchildren, Destiny Husband of Zavalla, Amber Powell of Lufkin, Gunnar Farr of Zavalla, Dakota Burrous of Lufkin, and Hunter Burrous of Lufkin; eleven step-great-grandchildren, Ashley, Maddy, James, Trevor, Abby, Brookelyn, Johnny, Casen, Corbin, Leland, and Ensley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents, John Douglas Weaver and Gracie (Trinkle) Weaver; wife, Mary Burrous Weaver; sister, Johnnie Johnson; and brother-in-law, Ben Woltz.
