A Celebration of Life for Edward Elizaitis, Jr., 64, of Huntington, will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at his sister’s home.

          Mr. Elizaitis was born on May 11, 1961, in New Brunswick, New Jersey,  to Edward Elizaitis, Sr. and Irene Altuchow, and died Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Huntington, Texas.

          He enjoyed his home life and hunting deer with a bow and rifle. He loved anything outdoors, especially fishing, camping and grilling for weekend gatherings. He was very talented and did great work in the construction trade. He will be dearly remembered by many people he did work for as they enjoy the wonderful craftmanship projects he created in their homes and businesses. Mr. Elizaitis was a dog lover and over the years, he enjoyed training his many dogs to do tricks .

           He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Britton and brother in law, Roger Behling of Huntington; aunt and uncle, Lisa and Rodney Blackford of Chatsworth, California; uncle, Nick Alcov and his wife, Jackie of Ojai, California; cousin and wife, Vladimir and Heather Rahkoy of Copeland, Texas; cousin, Yuri Rahkoy of McDade, Texas; cousin, Brandie Elizaitis of New York; uncle, Oleg Rahkoy of McDade, Texas; aunt and uncle Angelica Latsey and her husband, Milton of New York, New York; uncle Gunther and his wife, Linda Eliazitis of Huntington, New York; girlfriend, Linda Carter of Diboll and their fur babies, Opie and Andy.

           He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Larissa Rahkoy; and grandmothers, Ludmilla Altuchow and Helen Boris; grandfather, Ivan Altuchow; cousin, Mathew Altuchow; and cousin, Jason Elizaitis.
