Funeral services for Ethan “Kade” Jackson, 21, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Pastor George Bragg and Pastor Lonnie Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Gann Cemetery.
Kade was born on June 30, 2004, in Lufkin, Texas, to Clint and Tonja Jackson, and died Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Liberty.
Kade was a once in a lifetime man. His biggest dream was to be a devoted family man. He fulfilled that with love and pride. He is a deeply God-fearing man! He lived to make a respectable name for himself. He was an incredible husband. He was a amazing dad, always present, playful, and forever full of life. Known for his witty and infectious humor, he was a big jokester who could light up any room and tickled everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Chelsea Jackson of Lufkin; children, Brenlee, Ryker, Evelyn Jackson, and Gunner Weaver of Lufkin; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, Kaleb Owens, Tristan Jackson, and Anthony Jabbour; sisters, Hanna, Candice, Anna, Aria, and Kayla; parents, Clint and Tonja Jackson; grandparents, Cliff and Patty Morgan; 3 great grandmothers, Peggy Grimes of Pollok, Kathryn Selph of Lufkin, and Evelynn Bragg of Hemphill.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Grimes.
Pallbearers will be Garrick Newell, Anthony Russell, Josh Jackson, Adam Dubose, Calvin Miles, Dayne Bridwell, and KC Callison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Corporal Kaleb Owens and Tristan Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home.
