Funeral services for Eunice Green (McComb) Louviere, 101, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Brother Blackie Cranford officiating. Interment will follow at Gann Cemetery.
Mrs. Louviere was born on January 21, 1924, in Goodrich, Texas, to the late James Martin McComb and Tollie (Parker) McComb, and died Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in Huntington.
Mrs. Louviere loved to travel, especially to Saudi Arabia and Alaska. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and cooking for others.
Mrs. Louviere is survived by her daughter, Sherry Wilson of Lufkin; daughter, Sara Marley-Ryan and husband Jim of Lufkin; grandchild, Debra Smith and husband Sam of Silverhill, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Kelly Akins, Paul Smith, and Kaitlyn Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Sophia Smith, Gracie Smith, Aden Smith, Michael Smith, and Liam Akins; sister-in-law, Margie Green; sister-in-law, Jennie Gilcrease; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James Edwin Green and Roy Louviere; and son, James Martin Green.
Pallbearers will be Jim Ryan, Aden Smith, Rob Baldwin, Royce Oliver, Rick Green, and Sam Smith.
Honorary pallbearer will be Danny Havard.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, prior to the funeral service.
