Francis Grimes, 81, of Lufkin, was born on October 25, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to William Homer Bullock and Mary Grace Bullock, and died Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Huntington.
Mrs. Grimes spent her life helping others feel beautiful, she built a career as a beautician. She could cook amazing pies with the highest meringue in town! She found joy in watching her grandchildren play around outside and hearing all the loud laughter and smell of perm from outside her beauty shop.
She is survived by her son, William Bill Hill of Gilmer, TX; granddaughter and wife, Whitni Pryor and Maria of Woodlands, TX; grandson and wife, Zackry and Shelby Pryor of Huntington, TX; grandson, Kyle Alexander Banks of Nacogdoches, TX; grandson, Levi Ashton Banks of Clarksville, TN; and grandson, Kayde Aspen Banks of Nacogdoches, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Bullock; daughter, Debbie Hull Banks; and her closest friend, Dee Kieth.
