Gayla Chandler

          Gayla Chandler, 68, of Nacogdoches, formerly of Pleasant Hill, Texas, was born September 19, 1952 in Houston, Texas, to Earnest Wingate and Dorothy Juanita (Self) Wingate, and died Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Chandler was a hard worker and a loving wife.

          Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband, Michael Chandler of Nacogdoches; sons, Josh Heath Chandler of Nacogdoches, Jason Chandler of Schertz, TX, and Jeremy Chandler of Kerrville, TX; grandson, Addais Chandler of Chireno, TX; father, Ernest Wingate of Nacogdoches; and mother-in-law, Beth Chandler of Nacogdoches.

          She was preceded in death by her mother,

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
