Georgia "Dee" Lodean Jones Sisson

          Memorial services for Georgia “Dee” Lodean Jones Sisson 85, of Etoile, will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Broadus, Texas.

          Mrs. Sisson was born on April 13, 1938, in Alto, Texas , to the late George Willis Cummings and Iva Mae Beard Cummings , and died Thursday, January 11, 2024, at her residence.

          Mrs. Session loved traveling. She spent a lot of time working with  flowers in her garden. Mrs. Session enjoyed the Christmas season and spending time decorating. Most of all she loved her church and church family.  

          She is survived by her son and daughter-in- law, Norvel “ Butch” and Brenda Jones of Etoile, TX; eleven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Iva Jeannean of Etoile, TX; and numerous of nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Norvel L. Jones Sr., and Charles D. Sisson; daughter, Thersa Grubbs, daughter, Susan Ann Linthicum, sister, Sue Havard, and brothers, Tommy Cummings and Charles Cummings.
