A life remembered with love, laughter, and devotion to family-

          Graveside services for Glenda Keller Nerren, 86, of Tomball, will be held Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Berry Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas, with Pastor Trey Thompson officiating.

          Mrs. Nerren was born on October 2, 1939, in Marshall, Texas to the late Glen Theron Keller and the late Bernice (Whatley) Keller, and died on Monday, July 20, 2026, in Houston.

          Glenda Keller Nerren will be remembered for a life marked by love, dedication, and care for the people around her. She spent more than 40 years consulting in the oil and gas industry, building a respected career through her knowledge, commitment, and hard work.

          Glenda was married to the love of her life, Granville Nerren, until his passing. Their life together was an important and cherished part of her story.

         An avid sports enthusiast, Glenda could often be found cheering on the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and Texas Aggies. She loved keeping up with current sports news and especially enjoyed talking with her great-nephews about the latest games, teams, and news. On Sunday mornings, family members knew they could expect a call from Glenda asking for their “picks.”

         Glenda also loved to cook. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, looking through cookbooks, and preparing dishes that became family favorites. Her queso, pinwheels, and sausage balls were always looked forward to at family gatherings.

        Glenda also enjoyed the excitement of gambling and had a special fondness for slot machines. Whether it was the lights, sounds, or the thrill of seeing what the next spin might bring, she found joy in the fun and anticipation of playing. It was one of the many pastimes that reflected her spirited personality and love for a little adventure.

       Family and friends were at the center of Glenda’s heart. She cherished photos collected throughout the years and had a gift for remembering birthdays and anniversaries, including those of even the youngest great-great nieces and nephews. She loved a good phone call and was never short on words, making others feel remembered, included, and loved.

       Above all, Glenda will be remembered for the care and support she showed to those around her. She stepped in to help whenever and wherever she was needed, offering her time, presence, and love generously.

        Glenda’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the family traditions she helped create, the phone calls that will be missed, and the love she gave so freely.

       Glenda is survived by her sister, Wanda Rio of Texas; niece, Kim Folmar and husband JP of Winnsboro, Texas; nephew, Myron Rio and wife Anna of Kingwood, Texas; great-nephews, Erik Gouin and wife Alison of Dallas, Texas, Adam Gouin and wife Alaina of Sanger, Texas, Tyler Gouin and wife Bryanna of Tomball, Texas, Justin Tessem and wife Karmann of Melissa, Texas, Blake Tessem and wife Valerie of Winnsboro, Texas, and Devin Hudnall of Kingwood, Texas; great-nieces, Delaney Ashe of Houston, Texas, and Elyzabeth Bangs and husband Glenn of Kingwood, Texas; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

        She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Nerren; her parents, Glen Theron Keller and Benice Whatley Keller; her sisters, Rose Marie Keller and Melba Jean Keller; and her niece, Traci Lynn Rio Gouin.

        Pallbearers will be Tyler Gouin, Adam Gouin, Erik Gouin, Justin Tessem, Blake Tessem, and Myron Rio.
