Funeral services for Glenn Ray “Snag” Hambrick, 56, of Nacogdoches, will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Bro. Roger Justus officiating.
Mr. Hambrick was born on May 2, 1968, in Lufkin, Texas, to Charles Ray Hambrick and Linda Kay (Sharman) McCallum, and died Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Hambrick was a member of New Hope Chapel in Rivercrest. He was a hard worker and co-owner of TNT Masonry. Mr. Hambrick enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding 4 wheelers. He loved boating and was always the captain.
He is survived by his son, Michael Hambrick; grandson, David Hambrick; mother, Linda McCallum; sister, Pamela Alvarado; sister, Jessica Hambrick Durant; brother and sister-in-law, William and Shannon Shockley II; nephew, James Shockley and wife Angela; nephew, William Shockley III; niece, Amand Jackson, and special friend, Cretia Torbert.
Mr. Hambrick was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Hambrick; grandparents, Jesse and Zella Sharman and Ray and Grace Hambrick; and stepfathers, William “Butch” Shockley and Charles McCallum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Torbert, Michael Murphy, Jason Murphy, James Shockley, Dylan Torbert, Joshua Torbert, Gage Torbert, Daniel Justus, Rogie Justus, John Justus, William Shockley III, Kenneth Morgan, Gene Davis, Joey Nowman, and Jerry Steptoe.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home, prior to the funeral service.
