Gloria Ann Buster

          Funeral services for Gloria Ann Buster, 72, of Lufkin, Texas will be held Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Paster A.J. Warren officiating.

          Mrs. Buster was born on August 20, 1953, in Arcola, Texas, to the late Raymond Garcia and the late Elvira (Salazar) Garcia, and died Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Lufkin.

          Gloria was a Certified Nursing Assistant and loved her work. She was also a proud Sunday School Teacher at Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel church. She enjoyed reading her bible and shopping for Avon products. She was dedicated to her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

         She is survived by her husband, Norman Buster of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, John  and Jonnie Buster of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Hugh and Melanie Buster of Willow Springs, Missouri; daughter, Sara Buster of Lufkin; stepson, Randy Buster; stepson, Jeff Buster; stepdaughter, Diedra Buster; granddaughter, Reagan; bonus grandson, Tryston; bonus granddaughter, Saybra; grandson, Michael; granddaughter, Kristen; grandson, Christopher; granddaughter, Samantha; granddaughter, Brittany; grandson, Chance; grandson, Colby; granddaughter, Christina; and numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Sara Cannon; brother, Gilbert Garcia; step-sister, Daisy Grubbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Hunter Buster.

          Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home.
